We've really thought long and hard about the split lines for the bodywork. Our goal is to have the car as clean looking as we can, but also splitting the panels for the best access to different areas of the chassis. Tentatively, the plan is to have 7 different pieces and we'll use quick-release fasteners to allow fast removal and install of the parts. Our initial plans called for an internal aluminum crushable structure, but we have now decided to incorporate the crushable structure into the composite nose itself.
He're a few shots of a pretty large "splash" part that we pulled off the plug to begin the planning stages of the split lines and to establish the location where the suspension goes through the body.
